Traditional Birthday Cakes
The first cake is covered in fondant with drapes and fondant roses.

These two cakes are for fall birthdays. One of the cakes was for a bridal shower with a fall theme. The cakes have fondant leaves, acorns, lady bugs, whirly things, and roses. The chrysanthamums are butter cream.

These are traditional birthday cakes with fondant roses of all different colors.

The next two cakes also have the fondant roses, but the cakes have a lot more work involved. The first cake is covered in fondant and has drapes and fondant roses. The second cake has long stemmed sweetheart roses in tissue paper made out of fondant. It also has a string of pearls and beads on it. The border is beading and the name tag looks like a card from the florist.

This birthday cake is for my nephew who is the golf pro at Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc. The cake has the logo for the golf course on it and his name on the flags. The sides had greens and tees. It is fondant and butter cream.

Spring birthday cake with fondant daffodils, pansies and a bumble bee. The cake is an almond cake with almond filling.

This cake is covered in fondant with fondant drapes and gumpaste flowers. The flowers are carnations, roses and daisies. There are a few daisy petals scattered about. The ribbons on the cake are made of fondant also. In the center of the cake is a trinket box made out of gumpaste with two roses as handles. Inside the box was a birthday present.

The bridal shower cake below is designed to look like the invitation. It is butter cream and fondant mixed. The small pink circles are made out of fondant and have a wedding dress in the middle with smaller dark pink hearts. The second picture includes the invitation.
